• The Department of Endocrinology provides specialised endocrine services relating to hormone disorders.
• Regular Outpatient and Inpatient services for all diabetics
• Comprehensive lifetime free Medicare for all Juvenile Insulin Dependent Diabetics (IDDM), i.e. children with onset of Type 1 diabetes below 15 years of age
• Diabetes and Pregnancy service
• Full ophthalmic (eye) check-up with documentation and regular follow up in collaboration with the VHS Eye Department
• Diabetic Foot Care clinic pioneering work in limb salvage techniques presented in national and international forums
• Diabetes Renal Care service
• Special Nutrition service
• Psycho-social support and rehabilitation for Insulin Dependent Diabetics
