Dr. Sudha Vidyasagar

Dr.sudha vidyasgar is a physician of repute, with vast experience in treating patients with various medical disorders, She began her academic career from stanley medical college, with several gold medals in her finalm year, and was the best outgoing student in her MD exam at KMC, manipal. She was ehad of the medcine department at the prestigous kasturba medical college, manipal ,and was involvedd in the teaching and training of several undergraduate and postgradute medical students. She joined voluntary health services chennaias head of the general medicine department ,set up the department ,and started the DNB post gradute course in VHS. She deals with complex cases with multiple dieases,involving non communicable diseases like diabetes, hypertension,dyslididemia and cardiac conditionds such as ischemic heart disease.She was in charge of a fellowship in diabetes at manipal university and successfully ran the progrma. She is also interested in critical care, and manages patients in the ICU involving multiple systems.. She is also well versed in treating infectionscausinf fevers and life threatening sepsis and septic shock.She is interested in teaching and has won the best teaching award 7 times at KMC, manipal. She was awarded the life time achivement award from association of physicians of karnataka in 2023.She has published in several antional and international journals, and her medical publications number more than 175.She has published a book on emergencies and critical care called manipal manual of emergencies and critical care,which is popular among doctors and medical students all over india.She is currently chief of medical staff at VHS.
