Dr. Gokulraja S

Dr. Gokulraja S, MD, DM (Neuroradiology) is a trained Neuroradiologist and Interventional Neuroradiologist with extensive experience in advanced neuroimaging and endovascular procedures. He completed his MD in Radiodiagnosis and DM in Neuroradiology from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Chennai, and was awarded the Dr. Robert Crowe Gold Medal (2025) for best outgoing DM student.

He has undergone comprehensive hands-on training in interventional neuroradiology, including Observerships at premier institutes such as NIMHANS, Bengaluru and SCTIMST, Thiruvananthapuram. His clinical experience includes managing complex cerebrovascular and peripheral vascular conditions, with expertise in aneurysm coiling, mechanical thrombectomy for acute stroke, AVM and fistula embolization, carotid and intracranial stenting, spinal vascular interventions, and diagnostic angiography.

In addition to clinical practice, he has worked as a Project Scientist at IIT Madras, contributing to research in interpretable medical image analysis using deep learning. His areas of interest include neurovascular imaging, stroke intervention, advanced neuroimaging, and image-guided minimally invasive therapies
